MISSION STATEMENT

St. Teresa's Roman Catholic School works to provide its children with a high quality broad and balanced curriculum to enable each child to develop his/her full potential, regardless of gender, disability, ethnic or cultural origin.

It is a community of faith, which brings together clergy, governors, staff, parents and pupils in a special relationship with God, where the Gospel values of justice, tolerance, kindness and forgiveness are reflected in the policies and practices of the School.

The core values expressed by this Mission Statement are that we:

    • Work in partnership: home, school and parish.

    • Recognise each person as special and unique.

    • Help and support those who have particular needs.

    • Respect ourselves and each other.

    • Live and work together in the way Jesus Christ taught us, loving and caring for one another.

    • Strive to make our school welcoming, happy and safe.

    • Provide high quality education through which each child may develop his/her talents and the skills needed for life.

    • Develop links with the wider community.

    • Care for our environment.
