ABSENTEE GUIDELINES
Attendance at school is compulsory by law and, therefore, must be regular and absences for trivial reasons should not arise. The school is required to account for every single absence of every half a day. It is essential that all absences from school are covered by a written note from home. There are many reasons why this note is essential - not least of which is that of safe-guarding your child.

It is particularly important that you inform the school if your child contracts an infectious disease and a medical certificate is required when your child returns to school.

The Government strongly recommend that holidays are not taken during term-time.

Special holiday forms for parents' annual holiday are available from the Administrative Officer if this holiday is taken during the school term.
